Highlights For 2019

Our Event App

Using the event app, attendees can:


  • Create profiles (vCard) with their basic details, their abstracts, and sessions they would be attending using the registration form or through their Facebook account. 


  • Generate connections which can be later exported to a spreadsheet


  • Create their own personal agenda by adding sessions to their schedule and checking in to these sessions


  • Create displayed program sessions with 'Add to schedule' and 'Check-in buttons' along with lists of attendees and speakers for each session


  • Send a connection request to other attendees. (If accepted, it is saved into under vCards list which can be later exported into spreadsheet.)


  • Set up 1-to-1 meetings with fellow attendees


  • View sponsors and exhibitors and their representatives, send requests to get their contact details


  • Engage in discussions on the forum

The National LGBTQ Health Conference is an interdisciplinary forum that provides an opportunity for presentation and discussion of current health research and programs for LGBTQ adults and adolescents with the overall goal of addressing health inequities for this highly impacted group. Bringing together scientists, public health professionals, and healthcare providers from across the country to improve the health and well-being of LGBTQ populations, this is the nation's largest research and practice-focused LGBTQ health conference.  After five successful years in Chicago, the conference is proud to partner with Emory University and move to Atlanta, GA, for 2019. 

Conference Highlights: 

  • Pre-Conference Institute hosted by NIH and Emory on May 30, 2019, for students, post-docs and new investigators 
  • Nationally-recognized keynote speakers, expert panels and breakout sessions showcasing emerging research and practice
